The "Tanada Walk" is a unique experience where you can stroll through the rice fields before the harvest. This program often includes local flavors, such as meals featuring regional specialties or unique treats like Sansho (Japanese pepper) soft-serve ice cream. Around Aragi Island, you can discover various spots that connect you to local nature and culture. This includes the historical Kamiyu waterway and the "Michi-no-Eki Aragino-sato" (Roadside Station). At the roadside station, you can enjoy local culinary culture with menus featuring homemade konnyaku, fresh local vegetables, and traditional tofu.
While the path to the observation deck is well-maintained, if you plan to participate in walking events through the rice fields, comfortable walking shoes and practical clothing are highly recommended. When visiting the roadside station or local shops, please carry cash as many small vendors may not accept cards.
