Akagi Nature Park is a specialized natural observation facility located in the scenic Gunma Prefecture. It is a place designed to allow visitors to observe the subtle and beautiful changes in seasonal vegetation and forest landscapes. The park offers a variety of structured programs designed to help visitors achieve a sense of peace and connection with the natural world.
As of 2017, the management and operation of Akagi Nature Park are handled by Credit Saison. The facility is operated with a focus on providing meaningful experiences through nature observation and environmental-based activities, fostering a deeper appreciation for the local ecosystem.

The park features a diverse arrangement of plants that change beautifully with the seasons. For instance, the Rhododendron Garden is a standout area where visitors can witness the seasonal shifts in color and bloom. Visitors are encouraged to walk along the designated paths and signposted routes to observe the specific characteristics of the local flora and the evolving forest environment.
Akagi Nature Park offers different landscapes depending on the time of year. From April to November, the park is open daily except for Tuesdays (note: in April and May, it is open every day, including Tuesdays that fall on public holidays). From December to March, the park is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. This seasonality allows for a rich variety of scenery, from fresh spring blooms to the tranquil atmosphere of the winter forest.

The park hosts various programs that utilize the natural environment for wellness and recreation. These include 'Forest de Retreat,' 'Forest de Yoga,' and 'Forest de Pilates & Lymph Care,' as well as 'Forest de Camp' (camping). These activities are designed to help visitors move their bodies and relax while being fully immersed in the healing power of the forest.
Situated at the foot of Mount Akagi, the park is surrounded by a vast, rich natural environment. The surrounding area is ideal for activities centered around nature observation, hiking, and quiet contemplation of the mountain landscape.
When participating in outdoor activities or wellness programs, comfortable and functional clothing is highly recommended. Please bring items suitable for the specific season (such as light layers for spring or warmer gear for winter). For the most up-to-date details regarding specific programs or facility rules, please consult the official website. We ask all visitors to respect the natural environment and follow local etiquette to preserve the park's beauty.
