Aguni Island is a small island with a circumference of approximately 12 km, located about 60 km northwest of Naha City. Its history is shaped by volcanic activity, with layers of lava and volcanic ash forming the foundation, now surrounded by beautiful coral reefs. The island is characterized by its diverse topography: limestone caves in the north, towering white tuff cliffs exceeding 80m in height to the west, white sandy beaches to the east, and volcanic sediment deposits to the south.
