Event Overview

Omoriyama Zoo hosts the "Evening Cool Zoo" every Saturday throughout July. As the summer heat fades into a pleasant evening, enjoy a special atmosphere within the zoo. This event features extended evening hours, seasonal decorations like wind chimes, and unique weekly animal-focused activities to make your visit unforgettable.

Highlights & Activities

Witness animals in a completely different light than during the day. Each Saturday features a different special event:

• *July 4**: Interaction time with guinea pigs
• *July 11**: Dinner time observation at the Monkey House "Tenku no Rakuen"
• *July 18**: A special viewing time to see the lions' wild nature
• *July 25**: Special treat time: Ice pops for the African elephants

Additionally, the zoo is decorated with wind chimes, and mini pools will be available at the Grand Roof Plaza and Forest Stage Plaza. Enjoy the soothing sounds and water play for a refreshing summer experience.

Venue & Access

The event is held at Omoriyama Zoo. During this period, closing hours are extended.

Practical Tips

Closing time is extended to 19:00, but please note that last entry is at 18:30. The Zoo Shop remains open until 19:30. For more fun, the adjacent "Omoriyama Yuenchi Anipa" amusement park stays open until 21:00.

What to Bring

If you plan to use the mini pools, please bring a towel and a change of clothes.
