Yugure Dog Run is an off-leash facility located within Kibaga Park in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Set in a natural environment with views of Mt. Hakusan, it is an ideal place for your dog's exercise and socialization. The facility spans 1,664m² and is divided into three distinct sections—Small, Medium, and Large breeds—to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment tailored to each dog's size.
The biggest draw is the freedom to let your dog run off-leash in a beautiful natural setting. This is especially beneficial for large breeds requiring more exercise or high-energy dogs needing mental stimulation. It also serves as a great socialization spot for younger dogs to interact with others. The areas are clearly partitioned into Small (Tsuken), Medium (Togashi), and Large (Benkei) sections for peace of mind.
The next scheduled event date is July 25, 2026. Opening hours vary by season. During the summer (July and August), the facility is open daily from 16:00 to 18:00. Please note that closures may occur due to bad weather. The facility is closed during the winter months (January and February).
The dog run is located in the Central Garden area of Kibagata Park, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The entrance is located near the Central Garden 2nd Parking Lot. The area offers stunning views of the surrounding lakes and Mt. Hakusan.
All dogs must be vaccinated against rabies to use the facility. Visitors may be required to declare their status to staff at the reception. Private rentals are available outside of standard hours (between 7:30 and 19:30) for a fee of 500 JPY per 30-minute session. The facility includes a rest area and water stations for your convenience.
Please follow all rules to prevent conflicts between dogs. Recommended items include a leash (for transit), water bowls, and resting items for your pet. The visitor fee is 500 JPY per dog. For private bookings, please contact the Park Center in advance. As this is an outdoor activity, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for the terrain.
