Night Zoo is a seasonal event held at "Kamine Zoo" in Hitachi City, Ibaraki. This event takes place outside regular hours, allowing visitors to observe animals during their active nighttime hours. You can witness the natural behaviors and expressions of animals that are often hidden during the bright daylight hours.

By Car

From the Hitachi Central IC on the Joban Expressway, take Route 6 (toward Iwaki/Takahagi) for approximately 5 minutes. The zoo is located west of the "Kamine Koen Iriguchi" intersection on Route 6.

By Public Transportation

Use the Ibaraki Kotsu bus from JR Hitachi Station.

• Take the bus from the "Hitachi Station Central Exit" (Bus Stop No. 2) for about 10 minutes, get off at "Kamine Koen Iriguchi," and walk for approximately 3 minutes.
• There is also a bus service from Bus Stop No. 1 that runs only 4 times a day.

There are approximately 800 parking spaces available:

• Zoo Main Gate Parking: 40 spaces
• South Park Parking: 220 spaces
• Summit Parking: 150 spaces
• Viewpoint Parking: 60 spaces
• North Park Parking: 330 spaces
