Participants will craft a 'Karo'—a type of accessory worn during the Jomon period—using natural materials such as deer antlers and stones. It is a rare opportunity to experience ancient techniques and culture firsthand while touching the textures of nature.

Participation Details

This event is designed for one participant accompanied by one guardian. Capacity is limited to 15 groups and advance registration is required. If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held to determine participants, so please check your status early.

Eligibility: This program is for children in the 3rd grade of elementary school or above. While children take the lead in the crafting process, the program is designed with support for guardians in mind. The environment is set up to help children focus on working with natural materials.
