The Tottori Sand Dune Conan Airport Runway Early Morning Marathon is a rare opportunity for aviation enthusiasts and runners alike. You can experience the actual environment where aircraft operate by running through the runways and apron areas that are normally restricted to the public. With a limited capacity of only 200 participants, this is a highly sought-after event.
The biggest draw is the extraordinary sensation of running on an actual runway. The feeling of freedom while sprinting across the vast runway and apron area is a unique experience found only here. Since it takes place in the early morning, you can enjoy the crisp, fresh air and a special atmosphere. There are also prizes prepared for participants to add to the fun.

This event requires a complete prior reservation via the web. As the capacity was reached very quickly last year, we highly recommend applying as early as possible. The event is open to participants from 4th grade of elementary school and above.
