The Takasago Mantosai Festival is a special event where light and music merge against the backdrop of the historic streets of Takasago, Hyogo Prefecture. Under the theme "A city where stars descend," the traditional cityscape is enveloped in a dreamlike glow. Candles lighting the alleys, illuminated historic structures, and soothing music invite visitors into an extraordinary, otherworldly experience.

The highlight of this event is the moment the entire town transforms into a work of light art. You can enjoy various performances including:
*Alleyway Candles**: Candles line approximately 6km of city alleys, creating a nostalgic atmosphere as if you have traveled back in time.
*Historic Building Illumination**: 13 precious buildings and cultural assets, ranging from the Edo period to the Showa era, are beautifully illuminated.
*Musical Collaboration**: Jazz concerts and brass band performances are held at various locations, allowing you to enjoy the harmony of light and sound.
*Diverse Light Displays**: Enjoy different expressions at every corner, such as 3,000 candles at Takasago Shrine, LED lights on boats in the river, and special lights themed around "Musubi" (connection).

Approx. 15 min from Sanyo Himeji Station via direct express train.
Approx. 50 min from Hanshin Sannomiya Station via direct express train to Himeji.
Approx. 80 min from Hanshin Umeda Station via direct express train to Himeji.
*By Car**:
There is no parking near the venue. Since heavy traffic is expected, the use of public transport is strongly recommended.
Temporary parking areas include Takasago City Cultural Hall parking, riverbed temporary parking, and UI HOT Center (paid).
Tips for Visitors
There are areas like "Takasago Rakuichi (Ginza Shopping Street)" and "Yume no Akari Plaza" where you can enjoy local food and drinks. We recommend spending a relaxing time while enjoying local delicacies and music.
