Hosted at the Yamanashi Prefectural Science Center, the "Robot & Programming Workshop: Switch Car with LEGO EV3" is a practical learning event using the advanced LEGO Technic set, LEGO EV3. Beyond just assembly, participants will experience the joy of controlling robots through programming. This workshop offers high educational value, teaching both scientific thinking and the basics of programming.
The greatest thrill is the moment the code you programmed comes to life as a moving "Switch Car" right before your eyes. Using the professional-grade LEGO EV3 kit allows for high-level experiences, such as controlling precise movements and sensor responses. This is an advanced program designed for students (Grade 3/Elementary 3) and adults. Participation is not permitted for children below Grade 3, even when accompanied by a guardian. Please adhere to the age requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for children interested in programming and adults looking to test their technical skills.
Participation is based on a same-day ticket system. Please prepare cash for payment. Please check on-site for information regarding credit card availability.
The program is primarily conducted in Japanese. English support is limited; please check with staff on-site. To ensure a smooth experience, participants are encouraged to prepare for the program steps in advance.
