As part of 'Open Studio Vol.6: Art's Rest' at the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, a special cross-talk event will be held. This program features a dialogue between the artist Taisuke Abe and Michiko Kasahara, the Director of the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum. This is the second in a series of talk events where guests and artists discuss the creative process and the intentions behind the works.
The highlight of this event is the exclusive insight into the ongoing 'Open Studio' project. The dialogue explores the intersection of two perspectives: artist Taisuke Abe's journey through thought and expression, and Director Michiko Kasahara's interpretation of his creative process. It is a rare opportunity to delve into the professional depths of artistic creation. Please note that during this event, video screenings in the exchange space will be suspended to ensure a focused environment for the discussion.

No prior registration is required. You can participate by arriving directly at the venue on the day. However, capacity is limited to the first 30 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving early as the event will end once the capacity is reached. As this is a focused discussion, video screenings in the space will be suspended for the duration of the program.
No special items are required, but we recommend viewing the current 'Open Studio' exhibition in advance to deepen your understanding. Please wear attire suitable for a public museum space. The event is free of charge. Please refrain from eating, drinking, or any behavior that may disturb other visitors. If you require assistance or support (such as sign language interpretation or stenography), please contact the museum at least two weeks in advance.
