The Oaso Genki Walk is a walking event held amidst the rich natural environment of Aso, Kumamoto. The 14th edition will be held in 2026, offering participants a chance to experience the charm of the region while walking through nature. Three courses are available: 20km, 10km, and 5km, allowing you to choose based on your preference. Please note that prior registration is mandatory as it is required for accident insurance.
The main highlight of this event is the opportunity to walk while gazing at the magnificent landscapes of Aso. The designated courses pass through the unique topography and natural scenery characteristic of the Aso region. With 20km, 10km, and 5km options, you can enjoy different views depending on your chosen distance and connect deeply with the natural environment.
The event will be held over two days on November 7 (Sat) and November 8 (Sun), 2026.

As the event is held in the Aso area, please use public transportation or a car to access the venue. Advance registration and payment of the participation fee are required. The application deadline is September 30, 2026 (Wed) at 17:00. Fees vary by category: General, Aso Resident, Students (Elementary to High School), and Toddlers. You may also opt for the event magazine, a commemorative badge, or request your name be published during the application process. Please note that cancellations after the deadline or due to late payment will not be eligible for refunds or record certification.
