Preparation is key to enjoying the fireworks to the fullest. Since the display duration is very short, it is best to secure a good viewing spot 15 to 30 minutes before the start time. As temperatures can drop near the sea at night, bringing a light outer layer is recommended. Please allow plenty of time for travel due to expected crowding.
Most food stalls and vendors near the venue primarily accept cash. We recommend carrying plenty of Japanese Yen (coins and 1,000 yen notes). While some facilities may accept electronic money or credit cards, cash is the standard for festival stalls.
As this is a traditional community-based event, English support and signage are limited. While basic English communication may be possible, most signs and announcements will be in Japanese.
