"Minato HANABI 2026 - 5 Days to Color Kobe" is a special event held since 2022 to revitalize the Kobe waterfront. The 2026 edition marks the momentous 5th anniversary of the event.
Set against the backdrop of the beautiful seaside at Meriken Park, the event features "Musical Fireworks"—a fusion of fireworks and music. More than just a standard fireworks display, this is an immersive experience designed to highlight the charm of the Kobe waterfront. Spend a moving autumn evening enjoying the beautiful scenery of Kobe.
The main highlight is the "Musical Fireworks," where the colors and rhythm of the fireworks are perfectly synchronized with the music, creating a dreamlike world in the sky above Meriken Park. The display is a concentrated 20-minute show, designed to keep your focus on every intense and beautiful moment.
Meriken Park, the viewing area, is an iconic Kobe landmark known for its stunning night views. Watching the fireworks accompanied by music in this open seaside atmosphere offers a special escape from daily life. Be sure to look out for the special performances celebrating the 5th anniversary.
The event will take place over 5 days from Monday, October 19, 2026, to Friday, October 23, 2026.
