The 54th Masuda Suikyo Festival & Takatsu River Fireworks 2026 is a traditional summer celebration held along the Takatsu River in Masuda, Shimane Prefecture. This is followed by the 'Horan-e' traditional dance at 19:00 and 20:00, which heightens the excitement of the festival. The main event, the fireworks display, starts at 20:00, lighting up the night sky over the Takatsu River with colorful bursts. Finally, at 20:40, the 'Yogakura' (nightly Kagura dance) will be performed, bringing the rhythmic movements and melodies of traditional Japanese dance to the quiet night.
