The Kurayoshi Ubuiki Festival is a beloved traditional summer event in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture. Set against the historic streets of Kurayoshi, the festival features a diverse program including the powerful 'Ushiki' (ox demon) and 'Onna Mikoshi' (female portable shrine) parades, the traditional 'Mitsuboshi Dance,' and the spectacular 'Hiten Fireworks Display' that lights up the night sky. Around the Kurayoshi Ginza Street area, you can witness the intense energy of the 'Ushiki' demons and the spirited 'Onna Mikoshi' being carried through the streets.
