This special cultural workshop is held at Yokiso, a masterpiece of modern suburban villa architecture in Nagoya. The theme is "The Fusion of Tradition and Modernity: The World of Kimono Dresses."
Focusing on the 'Kamon' (Japanese family crests), we introduce MONDRESS—a fashion line that blends Japanese traditional motifs with international craftsmanship. This session presents a new way of inheriting tradition by redefining the concept of wearing a kimono.
The main highlight is the seamless fusion of the traditional Japanese aesthetic of the 'Kamon' with modern Western dressmaking techniques. Beyond just a cultural introduction, you will experience a contemporary approach to cultural preservation through M0NDRESS, a style born from integrating global craftsmanship.
The event will be held in the multipurpose room of the lower floor of Choshokaku (South Garden) at Yokiso.
