The garden is home to over 3,000 diverse plant species, including many related to Dr. Makino's work. During this event, you will walk through the garden guided by a professional botanical advisor to learn about the ecology and beauty of seasonal plants.

Since different plants bloom at different times, the experience changes beautifully with every visit.

Venue & Access

The tour starts at the "Main Building Atelier Training Room" within Makino Botanical Garden. The event takes place across the vast, nature-rich grounds of the botanical garden, moving from the meeting point out into the natural fields where plants grow wild.

Participation Details

This event is held on a first-come, first-served basis with a capacity of 20 participants. As this is a rare opportunity for professional-led learning, early registration is highly recommended. Applications can be made via the official website's form or by FAX/at the garden entrance desk. Please note that applications via telephone are not accepted. A separate entrance fee for the botanical garden is required.
