The Shibushi Oshaka Matsuri is a historic event celebrating local traditions and spiritual heritage. Over two days, the entire city comes alive with energy. During the main festival day, you can witness grand parades winding through the streets, the lively 'Senken-machi Daiichi' market, and ceremonial stage performances at Homan-ji Temple. For those seeking a more solemn experience, Jokokuji Temple hosts traditional Buddhist wedding ceremonies. On the eve of the festival, the streets transform into a nostalgic landscape with numerous food stalls and lights, perfect for an evening stroll.
The festival is held over two days, consisting of the Eve Festival and the Main Festival.

Due to the large crowds, many street sections will be restricted to pedestrians only.
