Hachiojiyama Park (Ota Northern Sports Park), located in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, is a vast and beautiful natural space. In spring, the park becomes a popular destination as the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms come into full bloom. With its expansive lawns, outdoor stages, and eco-house facilities, it is an ideal spot for families and travelers to relax and enjoy a peaceful time surrounded by nature.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

The main attraction of Hachiojiyama Park is the stunning spring scenery. The park is home to many Somei Yoshino cherry trees, which create a beautiful pink landscape during the blooming season. The large grassy areas offer a perfect space for picnics and leisurely strolls. While the park is well-equipped with facilities like an outdoor stage and management office, please note that moss phlox (shibazakura) and nemophila are not currently planted, so please plan your visit accordingly.
