Koga Fireworks Festival
5 min di letturaEvent Overview
The Koga Fireworks Festival is a major event held in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is famous for having one of the largest numbers of fireworks launched in Japan and the incredible impact of the massive 'Sanjaku-dama' shells. Set against the backdrop of the Watarase River, the show is a high-quality fusion of music and pyrotechnics that mesmerizes all spectators.
Highlights
The main attraction is the powerful Sanjaku-dama shells that seem to shake the very sky. The high-quality production, including the 'Overture' program synchronized with music, turns the display into a work of art rather than just a simple fireworks show. Don't miss the special displays inspired by the history and culture of Koga.
Schedule
The event takes place on August 2nd. Detailed program information will be released on the official website closer to the date. Typically, the grand display begins during the evening session (around 19:20).
