The Hanamori Matsuri is a grand spring festival held at Niutsuhime Shrine to welcome the arrival of spring. Offerings of seasonal flowers are presented to the deity Niutsuhime-no-Okami to pray for national peace and prosperity. Set against the breathtaking natural beauty of Amano village, this event blends solemn Shinto rituals with vibrant, festive celebrations.

• *Musical Offering**: Enjoy a soulful vocal performance by Shizuka Miyamoto, who sings of the history and culture surrounding the 'Amano no Koizuka' site, adding a touch of poetic elegance to the day.
• *Mochi-maki (Rice Cake Tossing)**: Experience one of the most exciting parts of the festival. In this high-energy tradition, rice cakes are tossed from the shrine grounds, creating a lively and joyful scene for all spectators.

The festival proceeds from morning through the afternoon as follows:

• *13:30—**: Sacred Procession (Cancelled in case of rain)
• *14:30—**: Vocal Offering by Shizuka Miyamoto (Held outside 'Amano no Koizuka'; cancelled in case of rain)
• *15:30—**: Mochi-maki (Rice Cake Tossing; cancelled in case of rain)
