While each settlement in Toyone Village has its own unique style, the Shimokurogawa district hosts an intense, overnight-long ritual centered around the Honobono Kaikan hall.

This is a deeply rooted local tradition. Visitors are asked to approach the event with respect for the local culture rather than as mere spectators. Essentials: Clothing, Etiquette, and Customs

• *Warm Clothing**: Since the event runs through the night and into the next day, it is extremely cold. Heavy coats and heat packs (kairo) are essential.
• *Traditional Offering (O-miyami)**: It is customary to offer a contribution to support the preservation of this tradition. Please prepare an envelope with the word "O-miyami" (御見舞) written on it and present it at the "Kaisho" (meeting area). The suggested amount is 2,000 to 3,000 JPY.

• *Reservations & Payment**: No prior reservation is required, but please follow local instructions regarding the traditional contribution.
