The 48th Miyoshi Kinsai Festival is a community-focused summer festival held in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The highlight of the event is the 'Grand Citizen Parade' that winds through the city streets. The parade features performances by the local mascot 'Don-chan,' as well as various groups including local students and community organizations.
The main attraction is the Grand Citizen Parade starting at 17:25. The spectacle begins with an opening flag ceremony by the fire brigade, followed by a diverse lineup including marching bands, dance groups, Yosak-oi, and the beloved mascot 'Don-chan.' The parade passes through two main points: 'Sumiyoshi-mae' and 'Hirogin-mae,' each offering different performances and timing. It is a perfect way to feel the local culture and energy.
