"Dahlia and Garden Mums" is a seasonal event held at Sera Kogen Farm, where vibrant dahlias and garden mums bloom beautifully with the arrival of autumn. As a special program, a photo seminar led by the renowned landscape photographer Mariko Yamamoto will be held during the event.

The venue features vast fields of colorful dahlias and garden mums, offering a breathtaking display of autumn colors. On specific dates (October 11 and 12), you can participate in a rare opportunity to learn professional photography techniques—such as capturing light and composition—directly from Mariko Yamamoto while photographing these beautiful blooms.

The following is the schedule for the main photo seminar. Please note that the seminar is held only on specific dates.

• 15:00: Photo session
• 18:00–19:00: Review session

Venue & Access

The event takes place at Sera Kogen Farm in Hiroshima Prefecture. The vast grounds are filled with seasonal flowers. For the photo seminar, please arrive at the meeting point by the designated time.

Participation Details

Advance online reservation is required for the photo seminar. Sales begin on Tuesday, September 16, at 12:00. Capacity is limited to 12 participants per day, so early booking is highly recommended. The seminar consists of a photo session followed by a review session.

What to Bring, Clothing & Etiquette

Participants in the photo seminar must bring their own camera and lenses. Please note that meeting times differ: 14:30 on the first day and 07:15 on the second day. Payment must be made in advance via the online store. Please check the official website regarding English language support availability. Please follow photography etiquette and ensure you do not damage the plants or facilities.
