"Make and Perform with Little Caterpillar" at the Yokohama Doll Museum is an immersive event where you can experience the many facets of puppetry. Enjoy a variety of programs featuring the warmth of handmade puppets and performances by amateur puppet troupes.
This event goes beyond just watching a show; it includes hands-on creation and interaction. For example, the "Interaction Corner" in the theater lobby allows you to touch and play with the puppets.
The performances are incredibly diverse. You can enjoy everything from adorable stories featuring dancing caterpillars and animals to tales based on Korean folklore, Aesop's Fables, and even shows using panel theaters or balloons. Each troupe brings its own unique way of storytelling and expression.
The event will be held on August 18, 2026. The performances are divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon.
