The display is available for a limited time from mid-February to May 5th, offering a beautiful view that follows the natural cycle of the land.
This location has a long-standing tradition of over 25 years, born from the initiative to effectively use rice paddies during the agricultural off-season. It has become a beloved local landmark, where different varieties of flowers bloom in harmony with the natural environment. It is more than just a scenic view; it is a cherished part of the local culture that preserves the beauty of the changing seasons.
The greatest attraction is the vast expanse of diverse flowers. The blooming process begins in mid-February and continues through early May, showcasing a shifting palette of colors. During your visit, you can also enjoy a relaxing foot bath (ashiyu). Additionally, during the Golden Week period from May 1st to May 5th, a free flower-picking event is held, allowing visitors to interact closely with nature.

The period from March to April is particularly stunning, as multiple flower varieties bloom simultaneously, creating a striking change in colors. We recommend visiting during bright daylight hours to see the vivid colors of the flowers. The Golden Week period (May 1st–5th) is a highlight due to the free flower-picking event.

The area is home to the Matsuzaki Onsen district. Matsuzaki Onsen is a historic hot spring area established in 1958. Nearby, you can explore cultural landmarks such as the traditional "Namako-kabe" (lattice walls) streetscapes and the Izu no Chohachi Museum. It is highly recommended to combine a visit to the flower fields with a relaxing soak in a local hot spring.
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes suitable for exploring the outdoors. When using the foot bath, please be mindful of those around you.
