The Minamikushiyama Terraced Rice Fields (Sawahata Observatory) is a premier scenic spot selected as one of the "Nagasaki Prefecture's Top 10 Terraced Fields." From the 3.7-meter high observatory, you can enjoy a panoramic view of approximately 800 neatly arranged terraced fields spreading across the Benki and Kotakeki areas.
