Tsuru Park (Sadu Park) is a comprehensive park located in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, where nature and history beautifully intertwine. Developed under the theme of 'Water and Cherry Blossoms,' the park offers a rich landscape shaped by the flow of the Takahashi River. It is especially famous as a premier destination for crowds gathering to witness the spectacular sight of approximately 500 cherry trees in full bloom during the spring.
The history of this park is deeply connected to the water management and river improvement projects of the Takahashi River. Within the park, you can find monuments commemorating the river's development and Western-style wooden architecture related to the Takahashi East-West Waterworks Association.
