Kinkofuku-ji is a temple of the Rinzai school (Nanzen-ji branch) located in the scenic Ichijoji area of Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. It was founded in the year 864 by Anke Soso, following the wishes of Jikaku Daishi Nyonin.
