The history of this garden began with a person who brought flower cultivation to this region. A former pharmacist, driven by a desire to support the local industry and enrich the lives of the community through floriculture, cleared the mountainside to plant various flowers and trees. This historical foundation has shaped the garden into the beautiful landscape it is today. The winter cherry blossoms are specifically named 'Gencho Sakura' because they bloom around the time of the Lunar New Year (Genjitsu/Gannichi), marking a special seasonal milestone.
