8 mnt bacaEvent Overview
This is an experiential program set in the beautiful Nishizawa Valley, Yamanashi City, where you can deeply learn about the natural environment. Rather than a simple sightseeing stroll, this program aims to teach participants about the region's abundant water and surrounding ecosystems through sensory experiences alongside expert instructors.
Participants will follow a "footpath" route, enjoying untouched natural scenery while discovering the charm of clear streams. It is an ideal experience for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the environment, families with children, or travelers seeking learning opportunities in nature.
Highlights & How to Enjoy
The greatest appeal of this program is the combination of deep learning from experts and actual fieldwork.
First, you will walk through the lush nature of Nishizawa Valley with a guide, feeling the breath of the forest and clear streams. The route is relatively gentle, making it safe and enjoyable even for those new to nature walking.
After the walk, a lecture by a professor from Tsuru University awaits. You will learn the scientific reasons behind why this region possesses such abundant water and the mechanisms of its environment. Connecting the scenery you just witnessed with professional knowledge is a truly moving experience.
