The 38th Yamaguchi Prefecture Beach Volleyball in Hagi is a special sporting event where the heat of competition meets the breathtaking scenery of Kiku-hama beach in Hagi City. Organized by the Yamaguchi Volleyball Association, the Yamaguchi Beach Volleyball Federation, and the Hagi Volleyball Association, the event is strongly supported by Hagi City and the Hagi City Board of Education.
Categories include Men's 2-player, Women's 2-player, Junior Boys, Junior Girls, and Mixed 4-player teams. Participation is open to high school students and adults on a first-come, first-served basis. Experience intense rallies and teamwork on the sand in this traditional summer event.
The biggest draw is the competition set against the backdrop of Kiku-hama's famous white sand and blue sea. The contrast between the dynamic movements of beach volleyball and the natural beauty is a spectacular sight for spectators.
Depending on the format—such as the 2-player tournament or the 4-player league and finals—you can enjoy different levels of strategy and speed. Beyond the players, spectators can soak in the refreshing summer seaside atmosphere while cheering on the athletes. It is a perfect way to spend a summer moment amidst Hagi's beautiful nature.
The tournament will be held in July 2026 according to the following schedule:
The venue is Hagi Kiku-hama Beach, known for its beautiful coastline.
