The Narita POP Run is a community-based marathon held in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. For the 2025 fiscal year, two categories are available: 10km and 3km, with an expected turnout of approximately 2,000 to 3,000 participants. It is a wonderful way to feel the local energy while running through the beautiful streets of the area.
Highlights & How to Enjoy
A key feature of this event is the opportunity to run through the actual streets of Narita. The 10km course is ideal for those looking for a serious run, while the 3km course is perfect for students (middle and elementary school) and the open category, making it accessible for all ages. On the day of the event, traffic restrictions will be in place to ensure a safe running environment. Additionally, a food and beverage area is expected to be set up around the Juhei Sports Field Nakadai, allowing participants to enjoy local flavors after their run.

The event will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025. The event will proceed rain or shine. The start times are as follows:

On the day of the event, traffic restrictions will be implemented around the course from approximately 09:00 to 11:30. This includes full closures or single-lane restrictions near the Narita Police Station bus stop, Gakuen Higashi-dori, and the Nakadai area. Please check the traffic regulation map in advance and follow the instructions of police officers and event staff.
Participation Tips
Preparation is key for a smooth experience. Water stations will be located at various points (including Narita Tax Office, Mukodai Elementary, Chuo Kominkan/Library, Nakadai Elementary, Narimiya Teradera Elementary, Sotodai Elementary, Hoken Fukushi-kan, Akasaka Fire Station, Azuma Junior High, and near Narita-Yukawa Station, etc.). Please confirm your route and pace according to your physical strength.

Please wear comfortable sportswear and shoes suitable for changing weather. Please note the following:
