Biblio Talk: Share Your Favorite Books is an event held at the Shimanto City Library Nishitosa Branch in Kochi Prefecture. In this program, participants introduce their favorite books to others. The event is open to ages 3 and up; however, preschool-aged children must be accompanied by a guardian.
This event features a format where each participant introduces their favorite book. It is a program designed to foster interaction through books within a library environment. The capacity is limited to 10 participants, ensuring an intimate, small-group setting.
Date: August 8, 2026. Time: 10:30 - 12:00. Reception begins at 10:15.
Venue: Shimanto City Library Nishitosa Branch. Library operating hours are Monday to Sunday, 10:00 - 18:00. The library is closed on the last Friday of every month, during the New Year holidays, and on designated maintenance days.
Pre-registration is required to participate in this event. Since the capacity is limited to 10 people, early registration is highly recommended. While the target age is 3 and up, preschool-aged children must be accompanied by a guardian.
There are no specific items required to participate, though you may bring materials related to the book you wish to introduce if desired. Casual everyday clothing is perfectly fine.
