Recognized as one of Japan's three greatest stone-walled terraced rice fields, the landscape consists of approximately 400 terraced plots stretching from an altitude of 220m to 420m, creating a magnificent multi-layered view. In 2019, as part of a Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries project, the "Tanada (Terraced Rice Field) Card" was created to communicate the charm and conservation efforts of these fields. Yotsuya no Senmaida is the only site in Aichi Prefecture to have such a card, highlighting the importance of local conservation efforts.
