Unosaki Coast is a nature-rich destination located in the southern part of the Oga Peninsula in Akita Prefecture, stretching approximately 1.5km along the shoreline. The most striking feature of this coast is the circular rock formations that surround the area, paired with an incredibly gentle, shallow seabed. Because the water remains very shallow even 200m out from the shore, the waves are exceptionally calm, allowing visitors to enjoy the dramatic natural scenery in a peaceful environment.

As this is a natural environment, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and clothing suitable for changing weather. There are park facilities nearby, and during the summer season, cold water showers are available for use. Please prepare accordingly for your visit.
