No advanced reservations are required to attend the Toro Matsuri. You are free to enter the shrine grounds during the event hours.

As this is an outdoor event held at night in the summer, breathable clothing is recommended. We also suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes for navigating the shrine grounds.

Accessibility

The shrine grounds contain gravel paths and some uneven steps. Please exercise caution if using a wheelchair or if you have mobility concerns.

Traffic & Parking

During the festival period, particularly from August 3 to 5, vehicles are not permitted to enter the shrine parking lot after 15:00. Additionally, traffic restrictions are implemented on the Ema-dori street in front of the shrine after 15:00. If you are traveling by car, please use the parking area near the National Route 307 (in front of Taga Town Hall). The use of public transportation is highly recommended.
