The area is part of the well-maintained Matto Seaside Park, which spans a vast 1.5km along the coastline. This location is much more than just a beach; it is a comprehensive leisure hub offering a variety of activities including swimming, BBQ, indoor pools, and hot springs. The park also features wide-open lawn areas for relaxation. One of its greatest advantages is its accessibility; it is adjacent to the Tokumitsu Parking Area (connected to the Tokumitsu Smart Interchange), making it incredibly easy to reach by car via the expressway.
Tokumitsu Beach and the surrounding Matto Seaside Park serve as a regional hub that blends natural coastal scenery with modern leisure functions. The area is home to facilities such as 'Matto Seaside Onsen' and 'Seaside Matto,' which have long been popular spots for locals and visitors to enjoy the sea and hot springs. While the area once featured different commercial structures like the 'Hakusan Kaido Market,' it has been revitalized and redeveloped into a modern, high-quality leisure environment that caters to both families and groups seeking a refreshing-escape.
The main draw of this area is the diversity of activities available on both land and sea. During the summer season, the beach is fully open for swimming and coastal recreation.
