The Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel is a landmark located in the Tempozan area of Minato-ku, Osaka. Standing at a height of 112.5m with a diameter of 100m, it is one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. During your 15-minute ride, you can enjoy a spectacular bird's-eye view of the Osaka Bay area. On clear days, the panoramic view extends from the Ikoma mountain range to the east, to the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to the west, Kansai International Airport to the south, and the Rokko mountain range to the north.
The Tempozan area has developed as a major tourism hub adjacent to the Port of Osaka. This Ferris wheel serves as a symbol of the Osaka Bay area's tourism, standing alongside attractions like the Kaiyukan Aquarium and Tempozan Marketplace. At night, the wheel is illuminated with colorful LED lights, becoming a beautiful part of the Osaka skyline.

The greatest draw is the overwhelming view from 112.5m above the ground. The cabins feature an audio system that provides information in both Japanese and English, allowing you to learn about the local area while enjoying the scenery. At night, the LED lighting displays change, sometimes even broadcasting the next day's weather forecast. This light show, which changes with the seasons and time of day, is a signature experience of Osaka's nightlife.
For daytime visitors, a clear sunny day is highly recommended to see the vast landscape including the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Kansai International Airport. During sunset, you can witness the beautiful transition of colors in the sky. At night, the LED-illuminated Ferris wheel adds a vibrant touch to the Osaka Bay nightscape. The atmosphere of the view changes beautifully depending on the season.

The 15-minute aerial stroll offers a relaxing time for families, friends, or couples. Each cabin can accommodate up to 8 people. For accessibility, 3 of the cabins are designed to be barrier-free, allowing passengers to board directly in a wheelchair, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
Located right next to the Ferris wheel is the Kaiyukan Aquarium, one of the world's largest aquariums. The Tempozan Marketplace, offering various shopping and dining options, is also adjacent, making it a popular spot to visit in combination with the Ferris wheel. Additionally, nearby cruise facilities like the Santa Maria sightseeing ship allow you to fully enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the Bay Area.
