Tinematsuyama Park West Garden is a comprehensive park located near the summit of Mt. Tinematsu (elevation 258m) in the southern part of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The park was designed to harmonize with the natural topography, featuring numerous playground facilities for children. Because it is situated on high ground, the panoramic view overlooking the Kurashiki urban area is one of its most striking features. In the spring, the park comes alive with approximately 1,200 cherry trees, offering a spectacular seasonal transformation.
The park was established by utilizing the natural landscape of Mt. Tinematsu. It has been developed as a space where local residents and tourists can relax in harmony with the natural environment. It is a beloved destination where recreation and nature meet, characterized by the strategic placement of playground equipment that follows the terrain and the seasonal shifts in flora.

The park features a variety of plants that present different faces throughout the year. In spring, you can witness the beauty of 1,200 cherry trees. As the seasons progress, you can enjoy approximately 3,500 azaleas in early summer, wisteria in May, and a stunning display of about 13,000 hydrangeas in June. The park is also equipped with many playground-style structures, making it a great place for children to stay active.
