Therefore, the period from just after sunrise through the morning hours is the best time to catch the most beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, cloud cover often increases, which can cause the view to become hazy; thus, a morning visit is highly recommended. Since the clarity of the sky and the appearance of Mt. Fuji change with the seasons, returning at different times of the year is a wonderful way to enjoy the area.

It is always a good idea to have a flexible plan that includes stopping at local cafes or indoor rest areas depending on the weather.
Because of the high altitude, please be aware that the environment differs from the lowlands. Regarding payments, please ensure you have cash or a credit card ready for use at the parking area or facilities. As wind and temperature can change rapidly, we recommend bringing a light jacket or clothing suitable for the altitude. While some English support may be available at the Sky Lounge, basic communication is handled by the visitor. The parking lot is generally available for use, but please allow extra time for your journey as it can become crowded during peak seasons.
