Sunshine 60 is a landmark skyscraper located in Ikebukuro, Toshima City, Tokyo. The 60th floor houses the 'Tenbo Park' observatory, an indoor viewing space that offers a stunning 360-degree view of the Tokyo skyline. Completed in 1978, Sunshine 60 has long served as a symbol of the Ikebukuro district. The history of its observation decks is quite long; while the former rooftop 'Sky Deck' is now closed to the public, the facility was revitalized and rebranded in 2022 as the 'Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbo Park.' It remains a beloved Tokyo landmark that continues to evolve with the city.

The observatory sometimes offers unique hours, such as opening as early as 5:30 AM on New Year's Day. The scenery changes beautifully depending on the season and the time of day. We recommend visiting during specific times to enjoy the changing light or to coincide with seasonal events, such as the street piano sessions featuring musicians from Toshima City.
