Sumiyoshi Jinja, located in Kawahara, Tanba-Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a shrine deeply rooted in the local community's traditions and faith. The most significant cultural event held here is the "Minatsuki Matsuri," which takes place annually on the last Saturday of July. During the festival, the darkness of the night is illuminated by the warm glow of lanterns as traditional floats (dashi) parade through the streets.
