Soni Kogen (Soni Plateau) is one of Japan's most iconic natural landscapes, located in Soni Village, Uda District, Nara Prefecture. The plateau stretches across the western slopes of Mt. Kuruson (1,038m) and Mt. Kame (849m), creating a vast, sweeping grassland.
