SKY PROMENADE is an outdoor observation deck located on the 44th to 46th floors of the Midland Square office tower in the heart of Nagoya. Situated at a height of 220 meters, it offers a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the entire Nagoya cityscape. A standout feature is the outdoor walking path that allows visitors to experience the sky directly. It is a popular destination for both daytime visitors seeking an open, airy atmosphere and evening visitors looking to witness the spectacular night scenery, which has been officially recognized as a 'Japan Night View Heritage' site.
Midland Square serves as a vital hub for urban development in Nagoya, and the SKY PROMENADE was specifically designed to allow people to enjoy the city's evolving landscape. The beauty of the night view is highly regarded, and its certification as a 'Japan Night View Heritage' site elevates it from a simple observation deck to a cultural landmark that symbolizes the beauty of Japan's urban nightscapes.

The greatest draw of SKY PROMENADE is the 360-degree view unfolding from 220 meters above the ground. The facility is spread across the 44th to 46th floors, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery from various angles. On the outdoor walking path, you can feel the breeze while gazing at the city below. The design also includes a lawn area on the south side and a deck bench area on the north side, providing a relaxing space to sit and soak in the view.
The scenery changes dramatically depending on the time of day. During the day, you can enjoy a wide-reaching, bright view of the Nagoya cityscape. At night, the area transforms into a glittering landscape of lights, part of the 'Japan Night View Heritage.' In the summer (August 1st to August 31st), operating hours are extended until 23:00, allowing for even later views. Additionally, on New Year's Day, the facility opens from 5:30 AM, offering a rare and precious opportunity to witness the first sunrise of the year from a high-altitude vantage point.

At SKY PROMENADE, you can enjoy a wandering-style stay, moving through the different floors while taking in the panoramic views. You can relax at the southern lawn area or the northern deck benches. Depending on the season, the venue may host temporary events, such as pop-up celebrations for movie releases or seasonal beer gardens, allowing you to enjoy the view alongside seasonal festivities.
The facility is directly connected to Nagoya Station within the Midland Square complex. This makes it incredibly convenient to visit before or after shopping or dining, as the area is surrounded by numerous commercial facilities and restaurants. Being located in a major urban hub, access to the rest of the city is extremely easy.
As an outdoor observation deck, please be aware that the experience is subject to weather and wind conditions. During rain or strong winds, there may be restrictions on umbrella use or even temporary closures for safety. Please choose clothing appropriate for the season and weather. Smoking and bringing in food or beverages are strictly prohibited inside the facility. For accessibility, barrier-free elevators are available to all floors (42nd, 44th, 45th, and 46th). Please note that pets (except for service dogs/guide dogs) are not permitted.
