Shinagawa Aqua Park opened in 1991, designed to celebrate the historical connection between the Shinagawa area and the sea and rivers. The aquarium provides an educational yet immersive space where visitors can observe fish and marine mammals up close. A standout feature is the tunnel tank, which allows you to feel as though you are swimming alongside the marine life. Under the tagline "More deeply with the creatures," the park emphasizes the importance of experiencing the natural behaviors and rhythms of these animals.

Exhibits and events change depending on the season, with a high volume of families visiting during summer vacations. Important Note: Due to maintenance work on the dolphin pool, all dolphin and sea lion shows will be suspended from July 1 to July 17, 2026. To avoid crowds from group bookings and enjoy a more relaxed viewing experience, we recommend visiting on weekday mornings. Always check the current status before your visit.
Regularly scheduled shows are the heart of the experience, including dolphin, sea lion, and seal performances. Depending on the time of year, you may also see special displays of otters or other animal behaviors. Please note that the "Sea Jewelry Box" feeding experience and the "Garra Rufa" touch experience ended on September 30, 2024.
