Kakhagawa Senbon Sakura is a spectacular cherry blossom destination located along the midstream of the Kakhagawa River in Nabari City, Mie Prefecture. The site features approximately 1,000 cherry trees lining both sides of the river for about 4km. During the spring, various varieties such as Somei Yoshino and Yamazakura bloom in full glory, creating a breathtaking landscape. The sight of the blossoms reflecting the changing seasons alongside the flowing river is a precious and much-loved view. Additionally, periodic nighttime illuminations transform the scenery, offering a completely different, magical atmosphere compared to the daytime.
