From March through November, Blumen no Oka offers breathtaking seasonal landscapes. The flowers and natural scenery shift beautifully throughout the year. For the best experience, we recommend arriving in the early morning to participate in animal interaction events and enjoy the attractions before the crowds arrive. Additionally, the seasonal buffet at the restaurant features menus specifically designed to highlight the freshest ingredients of the current season.

The park is easily accessible by car, approximately 20 minutes from the Gamo Smart Interchange, making it a perfect destination for a scenic driving trip. The surrounding area is dotted with various spots where you can experience the rich nature and history of Shiga.
As the park consists of large outdoor areas, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Since much of the experience involves outdoor activities and animal interactions, please dress appropriately for the weather. While parking is free, please be mindful of other drivers when using the large parking lots. If you are visiting with a dog, you must present proof of vaccination for both the mixed and rabies vaccines.
