Located in Hino Town, Koto District, Shiga Prefecture, Shiga Agriculture Park Blumen no Oka is an experiential agricultural park centered around the theme of dairy farming. Situated at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains, the park offers a wonderful way to connect with nature. Visitors can participate in programs such as feeding horses or interacting with animals like kangaroos and capybaras. With a total of 72 attractions, including the Alps Gym and go-karts, the park provides endless entertainment for guests of all ages, from young children to adults.

The onsite Farm Village Restaurant serves delicious products made from ingredients processed in the park's own facility, such as homemade bread and cheese-filled sausages, offering a true taste of local agricultural life.

From March through November, Blumen no Oka offers breathtaking seasonal landscapes. The flowers and natural scenery shift beautifully throughout the year. For the best experience, we recommend arriving in the early morning to participate in animal interaction events and enjoy the attractions before the crowds arrive. Additionally, the seasonal buffet at the restaurant features menus specifically designed to highlight the freshest ingredients of the current season.

Blumen no Oka is located in Hino Town, Shiga Prefecture, surrounded by the beautiful natural environment of the Suzuka Mountains. The park is easily accessible by car, approximately 20 minutes from the Gamo Smart Interchange, making it a perfect destination for a scenic driving trip. The surrounding area is dotted with various spots where you can experience the rich nature and history of Shiga.

As the park consists of large outdoor areas, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Since much of the experience involves outdoor activities and animal interactions, please dress appropriately for the weather. While parking is free, please be mindful of other drivers when using the large parking lots. If you are visiting with a dog, you must present proof of vaccination for both the mixed and rabies vaccines.
