Senagajima is an island located right next to Naha Airport on Okinawa Island, offering incredibly easy access—just a 15-minute drive from the airport. In August 2015, the opening of the Umikaji Terrace commercial complex established the island as a unique destination where Okinawa's natural beauty meets modern lifestyle and commerce.
The greatest attraction is the spectacular harmony of the "Sea, Sky, and Planes." From the terrace seating of the various shops at Umikaji Terrace, you can observe the beautiful Okinawan ocean and the planes crossing the sky at eye level. Since the area is built on a terraced slope, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Regarding payment, most shops accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and various IC cards, but it is wise to carry some cash for smaller stalls or specific vendors. While English-language menus and signage are available, please check in advance if you require specific services like spa treatments.
